In our experience underflooring heating is less time consuming and most cost effective when installed where a new subfloor needs to be laid, ie. new build, extensions or conservatories.  If this happens to be a one room extension the underfloor heating can be linked into your existing heating system to come on and off at the same time as your radiators.

The gentle heat emitted will only reach a maximum of 29°C, which is a few degrees above the required room temperature, which makes the floor extremely comfortable underfoot. 

 As there is no convection of warm air, unlike traditional radiators, there are no moving dust particles, thus assisting those with breathing ailments.  The heat of the floor will also inhibit the life of any dust or carpet mites.
